During the opening times the restaurant was great! Due to "Corona", the restaurant is closed, but there are wonderful pike dumplings, with sauce, outside the house! There are also freshly smoked gold trout, char, eel and stremel salmon! Also fish in sour! The boss, is trying very hard! Thanks! We have been regulars for years and have not regretted anything!

Good food, eel served in jelly in a glass, perfectly seasoned and very well fried potatoes. Almost a smooth one.

I have known and visited the restaurant for almost 40 years or since it opened. It was and is just very good. I am happy every time I can go there from the heath to eat and spend the day.

As always, the food was excellent, but the waitress was in a pretty bad mood that day and kept an unfriendly tone throughout. Customer requests were just annoyed and all communication was not that real, maybe the person had a bad day, but taking it out on customers .. doesn't have to be. In addition, the prices are now outrageously high, understandable beforehand, but an ice cream for € 7.50 .. € 30-35 per person you have to plan in ...

Despite Corona and its rigors, a highly recommended restaurant, which we visited in September 2020. We were served by a very good waiter and could enjoy excellent food. Hence our unreserved recommendation!

We were really looking forward to the pike dumplings. I was disappointed in it. The pike dumplings and the squeezed boiled potato were ok, but the dill sauce didn't work. Instead of serving a homemade sauce, a ready-made hollandaise sauce with lots of dill was served. Am very disappointed! Service and premises were ok.

Full of anticipation we drove to the whitefish. Much praise from our circle of friends attracted us there. Unfortunately we had to turn back first, as no meal was possible without registration. We made reservations for the early evening. We were shown to our table by the friendly staff, which was simply faceless in a huge room with no flair. No flowers on the tables, cool, bare wooden chairs, plastic arrangements at the entrances. Full of anticipation, we ordered the legendary pike dumplings, a disappointment! An indefinable mass, pressed together as a lump. A dill sauce dominated, the taste of which is reminiscent of a Knorr ready-made sauce. Big disappointment!

Delicious, great. Starting with the very nice and charming ladies who were very friendly and even told us something about the history of this inn. We sat in the former women's toilet 😉😉😊. Thanks to the kitchen, the chefs for our food. Thank you very much and see you next time.

Very tasty. Freshly prepared. Both the fish platter and the schnitzel. Short waiting time and very friendly, attentive service. Even our dog got a bowl of water. Recommendable.

Mass processing! Salad from the bulk pack and the fish swims in the fat. Disgusting! Because of the breading, there is hardly anything left of the fish taste. Fillets full of bones. Completely overpriced for fish, potatoes and industrial salads. You couldn't sit on the terrace because of countless wasps. Never again! The Schaalsee, on the other hand, is a dream. Fortunately, there is another restaurant in town right on the lake 😍

The best food I have ever eaten. Nice service and generally high quality. Perfect for fish lovers. It is expensive, but you have the ideal restaurant experience!

Delicious fish, nice and rustic ambience, but why are the fried potatoes soaked in fat? Half a pound of melted butter is served with the fish. The side salad is completely carelessly arranged. For the price I would have expected more. Pity!

Short waiting time. Nice personel. Food was very tasty. Very well attended so better reserve in advance, especially if you want a place outside.

One of the hidden gems near 'Zarrentiner See'. There is also a little store inside the restaurant. So feel free to buy some fish.

So many options of fish and other seafood. I had a crab soup. Absolutely loved it! Accompanied by cold bubbling sect 😊😋
